"DTVC Extra" are shorter solo episodes that I'll be posting on some weeks in addition to the main podcast. In this episode we're starting our look at the Ip Man films. With the first one, I look at the Ip Man story, how Donnie Yen does as the hero, and why the film works overall. With part 2, I get into a bit on Darren Shahlavi, and I also compare these films to Wong Kar Wai's "The Grandmaster." Then in a bonus segment, I look at "Wonder Woman 1984."
